I. Review two videos:

2. Transactional vs Transformational Leadership at https://tinyurl.com/ydhtwaf3 (optional)

II. Read Chapters 8, 9, & 10

After you have read the chapter assignments, choose one of the following surveys to complete:

1. The Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire (MLQ) Form 5X-Short (on Transformational leadership) found on page 191,

2. The Servant Leadership Questionnaire found on page 251, or

3. The Blake and Mouton Leadership Inventory found in Week Four Folder. (You may elect to complete all three)

III. Review the Case Study 8.2 (pages 186-187) and Case Study 9.2 (pages 214-215). Select one of the case studies for reflection post to the forum.

1. Based upon the chapter readings on Transformational, Authentic, and Servant Leadership Theories, create 2-3 analytical questions that would generate topics of discussion if you were leading Dr. Cook or Greg Mortenson;

2. As you formulate your analytical questions, incorporate leadership theories to address potential leadership failures found in the case studies. Consider possible connections with moral reasoning and the importance of transparency.

3. Include in your reflection brief comments regarding the results of your selected questionnaire and connect those results to your chosen case study.

4. Identify another’s post and respond. Be ready to discuss this during our next synchronous meeting on June 1.

It is an expectation that reflections be substantial in the sense that they are focused on text readings, class discussions, articles read, and videos assigned.
