Peer 1:

Nice post! I agree that improving the cryptography would improve the security and prevention on the network layer. Eavesdropping, like information gathering, network sniffing involve attackers monitoring networks and extracting text when they believe they have found something worth while. The key factor in these attacks is that hackers are able to decipher plain texts or decode passwords and weak encryptions (TDK Technologies, 2020). If these were made stronger and more complex the likeliness of hackers successfully accessing the private information would decrease. Along with the encryption improvements, message authentication code, random number generator, and the hash that you mentioned above, adding a filtration system, such as ingress and egress filters, to the network layer to only send or receive data from pre-approved networks and IP addresses would drastically improve security and protections from hackers even being able to extract data.

Peer 2: Nice, Easy and focused dose, I mean post. Thank you , I love it. It added a lot to me. Furthermore, various network layer assaults differ, such as not forwarding packets or adding and changing some route message variables, such as identifier and hop count. An opponent can stop forwarding data packets, which is the most fundamental assault carried out by nodes on the network layer.
