Vision and Hearing Impairment Design Considerations

Part 1: Selections: Using the chart you created for this week’s discussion, create a short digital presentation that includes two finish materials, two lighting selections, two pieces of technology, and identify three proper clearances to be included in residential design with regard to vision and hearing impairment.

Consider the both the psychological and physical factors discussed in the mini-lectures this week. Within your digital presentation boards, organize the materials in a manner that is understandable to a client and label all items. (PowerPoint or InDesign would be a great software to use for this assignment).

Part 2: Justification: On your boards, you should also include a brief explanation, written in your own words, as to how the selections meet the needs of a vision and hearing impaired client. Discuss both physical and psychological factors.
