A.

Help with one of the following questions in a one-page (not including cover and reference pages) APA-formatted summary report, and include your question in your report:

  1. In your opinion, had it not included the use of aviation, how would the outcome of the United States’ role in World War II have changed?  Assume that aviation was not available to all nations.
  2. Beyond the obvious change in aviation security, what other impacts did the use of aviation on 9/11/01 have worldwide that are still influential today?

Save it using a naming convention that includes your first and last name and the activity number (or description). Do not add punctuation or special characters. Refer to the rubric for specific grading information. Be sure to include References/in-text citations validating your comments.  At least one reference must be from the course text.

In this course, you will be required to submit a comprehensive research paper related to aviation legislation. Your paper is due at the end of Module 8. Review the information below and be ready to submit your topic in Module 2.

Research Paper Topics

Topics for the research paper are required to be directly related to aviation or aerospace legislation. You can select a topic from Research Paper Topics or from the Statutes/Cases listed in the Lawrence text that address an aviation topic discussed in the course.

As you select a topic for your paper, be able to provide a case/defense answering the question: In the historical context when this topic/legislative action was taken, why was it important at the time, and what long-term impacts did it have on the commercial aviation industry?

Your instructor may also approve an alternative topic suitable for your location in a jurisdiction outside the United States but only if it is directly concerned with aviation or aerospace legislation.

Research Paper Requirements

The paper must be written in accordance with APA standards using the current edition. Refer to Undergraduate Capstone Resources for more information. The required length is 4-5 pages, excluding the cover page, charts, tables, graphs, diagrams, photographs, the reference page, and the appendix.
