Explain how to balance accountability and collaboration in an Agile team. Provide an example to support your response.
1. Functional vs. Nonfunctional Requirements” Please respond to the following:
Explain why both functional and nonfunctional requirements are important in IT development. Include at least two (2) examples to support your answer. Please make sure that your examples are different from other students
2. . Innovation” Please respond to the following:
Speculate on why Agile development and project management drives innovation and traditional “waterfall” project management cannot. Give your opinion as to whether or not this is one of the reasons why the waterfall methods have less applicability in the mainframe era. Justify your response.
Analyze how feature-based delivery in Agile projects can deliver value quickly and incrementally during the life of the project. Include an example to support your response.
3. Building a Self-Organizing Team” Please respond to the following:
Take a position on whether or not Agile teams are leaderless. Justify your response.
Explain how to balance accountability and collaboration in an Agile team. Provide an example to support your response.
4. Software Components and Connectors” Please respond to the following:
Select two (2) widely known systems (i.e., software used in Microsoft or Google). Identify two (2) software components of each system and explain how they differ from one another.
Identify two (2) software connecters from each of the systems you selected in Part 1 of this discussion and explain each connecter. Analyze how these connectors work with their corresponding components.
5. Maintain or Rebuild” Please respond to the following:
Imagine a small college that maintains its student records in a system. This system is approximately 15 years old and has
been expanded upon many times over the years to meet ongoing demands. Increasing demands warrant a significant change to the student record system. Provide three (3) reasons in favor of continuing the expansion of the system and three (3) reasons in favor of rebuilding the system. Determine which approach you would recommend and explain why.
Consider the size of the college, the number of times the current system has been updated, the technologies available, and other similar factors. Recommend the architecture suitable for this college if it was decided that the student records system should be rebuilt. Provide a rationale for your recommendation. Note: Refer to Chapter 4 of the text for the information on architecture.
