Your final research project has three parts: 

In part one you will research and discuss the history (dates,  people, legislation etc.), the targeted patient population, the sources  of funding, and the importance to the healthcare institutions revenue  stream (HINT: review mid-term essay) for the following:

1. Employer provided/self-pay healthcare insurance,
2. Medicare
3. Medicaid
4. Tricare
5. Chips

In part two you will research and discuss the four health care  models found in industrialized nations around the world (The Beveridge  model, The Bismarck model, National Health Insurance or Tommy Douglas  model, and the out-of-pocket model).

In part three, you will align each of the American insurance  types (part one) with one of the four models (part two) and explain why  you made this selection.
