Course Objectives:

• Describe in detail a variety of theories of human development.
• Analyze the relationship between growth and development theories, nutrition, and culture as they relate to health promotion throughout the lifespan.

Directions:

The student will answer the following three questions and post on the Canvas Discussion Board. Please follow the wording templates provided and/or word count. You will also be required to provide at least one APA in-text citation and an APA reference page to support your statement(s).

1. Review psychosocial, cognitive, and moral development theories in Edelman & Kuzma, 2018, pp. 359-363. List three aspects you agree with the different theories (three different theories should be represented) that you agree with and explain why. Then list two aspects of the different theories you disagree or question and explain why (these two theories can overlap with your first three theories).
