History homework help

This midterm consists of two parts: an essay question (50%), and identification terms (50%), and it is due at the end of the week.
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING DIRECTIONS CAREFULLY:
There are two parts to this midterm. (part one = 50%; part two = 50%)
1) Part one is the “Identification Terms.” There are seven terms below. Define and state the significance of FIVE of them. (by “significance,” I am asking why this term is important—why does it matter? )
2) Part two is the essay exam.  Write an essay that answers the essay question as fully as possible, using examples from all formats used in this course (the readings, lectures, and if applicable, the films).
3) YOU WILL REFER TO BOTH THE LECTURES AND THE READINGS IN ORDER TO ANSWER THE ESSAY QUESTIONS. THE IDENTIFICATIONS WILL REFERENCE EITHER THE LECTURE OR THE READINGS- SOMETIMES BOTH. BE MINDFUL OF THIS.
4) There MUST be two parts to this midterm. You may not “integrate” parts 1 and 2 into a single section. If you do, the highest grade you can get on the midterm is 50% (which is an “F”).
Part 1: Identification Terms
(1) Atahuallpa; (2) Enconmienda; (3) Mit’a; (4) Tenochtitlán; (5) Two Republics/Dos Republicos; (6) Repartimientos; (7) Malintzin
*Reminder: There are seven identification terms to choose from. You must choose five.
**Reminder: A successful performance on an identification term is one that (1) defines the term clearly, (2) tells the reader why it is significant, or important. YOU MUST DO BOTH #1 and #2 to receive points.
Part 2: Essay
Instructions:
1) Must be 4-5 pages
2) Double spaced, Times New Roman font, 12 pt font
3) You must use citations when referring to information found in the readings and the lecture [for example: (Lecture, Week 4) or (Burkholder, p. 123)]. Please do not forget to use citations! These really matter!
4) Proofread your work carefully. This is a humble request– your grade will not only be dependent on the information and arguments you provide, but also upon how clearly you state your answers. Unclear answers are difficult to assess, which means you lose points! Please proofread!
ESSAY QUESTION:
Describe and explain three common myths about the Spanish conquest, and then debunk each of them (prove them wrong), using evidence from the readings (textbook and readings on Canvas) and the lecture.
(Advice/Hint: in “debunking” these myths, (1) start with an introductory paragraph that tells the reader the three myths you will be discussing and debunking. (2) organize your essay around the myths (1 and a half pages for the first myth, 1 and a half pages for the second myth, etc. Then conclude your essay with a paragraph explaining the power of these myths. Just some friendly advice!)
