Submit two draft purpose statements that reflect the problem statements:

(a) one for a qualitative study 

(b) one for a quantitative study 

Include the independent variable, dependent variable, research method, population, and geographical location for the study.

Be sure to include references to support your argument for the qualitative or quantitative study. Also use references to support any other statements of fact that you make in the purpose statement.
