Without determination, many succumb to the obstacle, Watch the story of Auti Angel and see her “soul full of determination”. As you watch The Strength of Legends!! By Auti Angel, think about her “voice”. How does she perceive herself? In this discussion board reflect on the barriers people with disabilities face and how they may overcome them. Think about your own challenges and how that may impact your sense of worth. Write about how personal perceptions and the perceptions of others impact who we are.

Auti perceived herself as just an ordinary normal person. She didn’t make her seem like she had a disability. That’s how I believe it should be. We as a society must stand up against discrimination towards them just like we stand up for other causes. Since people may label them as handicapped or some other label, doesn’t mean they can’t do what you can. There are a lot of smart people with exceptionally that don’t get a chance to display their full potential since they have been labeled since they were born. To help them overcome that we should first stop labeling and treat them normally. If they do for some reason feel they have a default we shall help them and continue to provide the confidence that everything will be alright. We can’t just keep walking and lower their self-esteem. How people think of you is very important. Especially for me. When I get judged or rejected, I am way too afraid to retry it again.
