- Step 1. Examine data from the School Report Card, the School Improvement Plan, and other resources to identify a student group experiencing an achievement gap when group data are compared to state averages.
- Step 2. Create a data collection chart to develop a demographic portrait of the student group. You may create the table yourself, or use the template provided in the Template Tables document.
Step 3. Use Excel or another spreadsheet program to create a graph illustrating this portrait. Include the graph in your assignment document.
