For Essay Two, the exploratory essay, you are required to find many different types of sources about the same research subject from your narrative essay (Essay One). One of those is a scholarly source, which means it comes from a peer-reviewed journal or book. We are finding that source first because it is often the most difficult type of source for students to find. You will be researching the subject that you wrote about in the narrative essay to create an exploratory essay that summarizes and evaluates the research you find.

For this week, you should post two things:

1) a citation for your scholarly source, like what would appear in your Works Cited page

2) a brief 2-3 sentence summary of your scholarly source, which can include quotes but does not have to include any. I suggest using the CRAAP test to write your summary.
