The U.S. constitutional law theory that provides the president of the United States with the authority to control the entire executive branch would be the unitary executive theory. “The president controls the entire executive branch, totally and completely” (Flatworld PPT).

Even though I think that this is torture for a person to endure, I think the president should do whatever he has to do to get someone to talk especially if it involves terrorism, murdering, or missing a person. From my perspective, it’s best to do an interrogation and try to get as much information you can but if it is not enough then it’s time to take the next step. Waterboarding is a cruel technique to use but it seems like it can get the job done to get the answer you need. Watching that video, I completely felt that man’s torture because I don’t like to be closed in and then you suffocating too; can’t do it.
