The goal of this essay is for you to explore cross-cultural connections between different heroes. Please choose one of the hero pairs in the list below, and then write 3-4 pages (double-spaced, about 800-1000 words). The main question is: what similarities or connections do you see between the two heroes, and why is it interesting? Your answer to that question will be your thesis.

Your essay needs to have an introduction with your thesis, body paragraphs explaining the connections and using quotes and/or very specific details to support each point, and a conclusion.

You should mention the titles of sources where you use them in the essay (and authors, if they have named authors), and then list them all in a Works Cited list following your conclusion. Please only use the sources on our Canvas site (if you have to use another source, make sure you cite it thoroughly).
