I’m working on a history writing question and need an explanation and answer to help me learn.

1) Although President John F. Kennedy only served three years in office, they were three
supremely important years in terms of the Cold War and American foreign policy with
the potential for world-ending nuclear war coming just one-word way in 1962. What do
you think was Kennedy’s most difficult foreign policy challenge?  
2) The 1960s is well-known for its many famous musical acts. Who were some of the bigger
acts of the 1960s? Did they change rock music or do we remember them simply out of
nostalgia for the decade of the 1960s?
