Montclair University Thinking Fast & Slow by Daniel Kahnmans Book Report

I would like a 4 page book report of Kahnman’s “Thinking, fast and slow”. double spaced in length. Times new roam, 12 pt size.

Main goal: to critically evaluate the authors main story in the context of theories and evidence related to social cognition. Choose one (or two) overarching themes.

How do book examples highlight social cognition theories and evidence? on the other hand, how do book examples oppose social cognition theories and evidence? How does the book contribute (or not) to the research on social cognition? How does this book change the way one should think about social cognition? No “grocery list” of example. Clear examples should flow and always be tied to the main theme.

Cite with accuracy social cognition theories and evidence from past course readings (will send further instructions)

Reference the researchers (APA format)

As assessment of the strong points as well as the short comings of the book.

Find creative ways to communicate the critical evaluations of the book in a brief paper

Do not summarize the content of the book, except when you cite examples from the book. The challenge will be to do as much of this as possible and yet not let it interfere with the restricted length of the review. (find creative ways to give examples from the book in a limited space)

Avoid quotations, unless absolutly necessary to support a point. But should be kept to a minimum and should rarely exceed one sentence.
