Analyze the attached work of art and write a thesis statement that tells me what you believe is the meaning. Once you have established your belief of the artist’s content, use 4-5 of the visual elements/principles of design (listed on page 41) to support your thesis. Please note the visual elements/principles of design in bold. This assignment is strictly opinion-based.
The best way to format your paper will be as follows:
Introduction: should include what you see in the artwork and a thesis statement that says something like this; I believe the meaning of this work is _______.
Your body paragraphs (I suggest one paragraph per element): tell me where you see the element and how it supports your thesis.
Conclusion: wrap up what you have said and tie it back to your thesis.
Your paper must be in essay form. It must be at least two pages long.
