Reading Response Paper:  You will write Reading Response Paper on four different sets of required weekly readings, two of which must be from assigned readings before week 8. You choose which weeks’ readings and submit the Reading Response Paper at the class for which those readings are assigned. • What is the main argument made in each of the readings?
• What evidence does the author(s) provide to support the argument? Is it compelling?
• Are there contradictions, disagreements, or debates in the week’s various readings? Can they be

resolved?

• Are there any limitations or shortcomings of a study/studies, and how might it/they be improved?
• Are there important, researchable questions that are not addressed? Give an example and suggest how

it might be researched.

• What are some important concepts used by one or more authors? Analyze some of these concepts.
• How does this reading tie in with readings or themes discussed previously in the course or other POLS

courses you have taken?
