Happy week 5.  This week we are covering  the Civil War  (1861-1865) into the Reconstruction.   Reconstruction refers to the period of rough 1865-1877 when the South tried to rebuild itself with the aid of the federal government.  

Please write a Cornell note on Drew Faust’s article on The Civil War and the Art of Dying.  Follow all the instructions for a Cornell note.   In your  summary  please put Faust in dialog with one of the lectures or readings for this week.
