Conduct research in order to prepare a formally written report based on the information you review. Your report should consist of 3-5 pages of content. It may be written in as a combination of paragraphs and/or point form materials. Feel free to include any relevant illustrations (tables, graphs, maps, pictures) that you feel might help illustrate important information. Be sure that your report addresses each of the following:

1. Identify the country you have selected and why it is on Canada’s aid list. 

2. Identify factors that contribute to low economic development status of your chosen country. 

a. Make reference to any historical, socio-economic, political, or cultural factors you may come across in your research.

 b. Support your understanding with evidence drawn from research information.

c. Properly cite sources making use of in-text citations (footnotes), and include a bibliography formatted according to the Chicago Manual of Style.
