1. Both Weiten et al. (pages 506-507) and Halibur & Halibur discuss the importance of a theoretical orientation.  Compare and contrast the two. Do you think having a theoretical orientation is important as a helper?  Why or why not? 

2.Weiten et al. describe various different kinds of therapy approaches.  Which approaches resonate with you the most and why? The purpose of this question is to get you thinking about developping your own theoretical orientation.
