AU Social Science Intervention in The World Discussion
I’m working on a social science question and need guidance to help me learn.
We have so far explored how science is criticized, complicated, linked in complicated ways to expertise, located in a historical setting, and tied to modalities of representation that aim at being universal and objective. This week calls you to think of science in a different way: as an active intervention in the world. This is not new: science has always intervened in the organization of the natural/social world.
