After reading Modules 50-54, you learned about Personality. “Psychologists regard personality as a persons’ unique long-term pattern of thinking, emotions, and behavior” (Engler, 2014).

• Compare and contrast at least three of the following terms: personality, trait, self-concept, character, self-esteem. How are your selections related to one another?
• Review the Psychodynamic, Humanistic, Behavioral, and Learning Theories used to conceptualize personality. Select one of the theories and describe two of the key elements that are used to understand how personality develops. How is that concept related to who we become?
• Describe a time when you or someone you know experienced an inner struggle. Using the theories of personality, how would you describe what may have been occurring to cause the struggle?
