As a public health professional, it is important to be able to communicate the fundamental characteristics and organizational structures of the U.S. public health and health care delivery systems. Research these systems. Use PowerPoint and develop a concise two-slide infographic that provides an overview of each. Refer to the “Infographic Example: Long-Term Health Care System Overview,” for a general example of how to create an infographic related to this assignment. Create your infographic using the detail and organization required to clearly communicate the organization and structure of each.

Include the following:

Slide 1: Overall, provide a visual of the public health system. Include the federal, state, tribal, and local levels. Illustrate both the structure and organization of the system and include the public health functions (health promotion, health education, preventative health services specialties, environmental health service specialties, etc.).

Slide 2: Choose a health care delivery organization for either public or private organizations and examine the structure. Outline the structure of the health care delivery systems you choose. Illustrate the system from executive leadership or administration down to the points of service.

You are required to cite to a minimum of three sources to complete this assignment. Sources must be published within the last 5 years and appropriate for the assignment criteria and public health content.

While APA style is not required for the body of this assignment, solid academic writing is expected, and documentation of sources should be presented using APA Style 7th Edition.
