For this week, we are looking at voting and why we vote the way we do. So for this week, I want you to consider, what are the main factors influencing why people vote. Is it education, family history, party loyalty? What do you think?

The second question I want you to think about is this question of voter participation. Should it be the law that we MUST vote? Every four years some folks argue that not everyone is voting, and there is considerable pressure to vote. Should voting be mandatory? Why or why not?
