In Week 2 you are to prepare and submit a short report on an experiment involving facial recognition.  As part of this assignment you should try the experimental procedure yourself to experience what participants do.    You need not record your scores – just take note of them. 

Try the Facial Recognition Lab! This is the procedure used for the mini lab. You do not need to use your personal data for the mini lab report but can get an idea on what other participants did while completing this study.

Using the data above and your statistics from the analysis, you are to write a short lab report (2-3 pages) in APA Style consisting of an Introduction, Method, Results, Discussion, and References.

(Keep in mind that doing the experiment online was only to give you an idea of how the experiment works. You will write the mini lab report as if you were the researcher who conducted the experiment.) 

You may use this article by Rehman and Herlitz (2007) as a reference in your report: Facial Recognition Article. You should not summarize this article as your entire paper. Use this article to help write your introduction and then use the data I provided for the rest of your paper.
