12-Bar Blues Assignment

For this assignment you will compose a short 12-bar blues song that will consist of at least 2 different verses and one repeating chorus. In addition to the text of the song, you will provide a short explanation about your overall approach and your compositional method.

You will be assessed on how closely you adhere to the 12-bar blues form (AAB text form for each section, having each line of lyrics being around a sentence length, rhymes between the A&B sections, etc.) along with how well you explain your overall goal (what is your theme, what are you trying to express) for the song and compositional process. Your assignment should be in a word or pdf format.
