I’m trying to learn for my Social Science class and I’m stuck. Can you help?

 identifying a problem area and a research topic within that problem area.  This is the first step in developing Mini-Proposal #1 and Mini-Proposal #2, which will both build on the work of this initial paper..  The topic should be related to families.  For example, it could have to do with families and adult children, how families influence and shape children, sibling relationships, sources of stress, trauma and critical incidents, importance of cultural differences, parental expectations on children.  Or the topic could deal with HDFR as a major: what is distinctive about HDFR, students majoring in HDFR, what sort of work HDFR graduates end up doing, what motivates students to go into HDFR.
