Most conscientious individuals oppose genetic engineering on ethical grounds. Nevertheless, since the damn of man, humans have been genetically modifying other species (dogs, horses, et al.). All things considered, how do you feel about the practice? Is it morally acceptable or ethically indefensible? Why?

In the 2nd paragraph (150-200 words):Unit 5 DQ2

In parallel fashion to Unit 5 DQ1, cloning human beings is universally considered taboo; yet scientists have been cloning other species in research laboratories for quite some time now. What logical and/or ethical arguments can you pose to justify these distinctions?
