Based on the readings you completed this week,

1. Explain the importance of the language subsystems for a bilingual student. Ex., what does it mean for them? What do teachers need to take into consideration? etc.

2. Why is it important to look at the Texas ELPS when working with students whose first language is other than English? Elaboarate and give examples of the levels, domains, etc.
