This week we’ve talked about various theories and how they influence us as well as reflect who we are and our experiences. Under “Learning in Action” on pages 106-107 it provides two examples of how an individual’s personal experiences impacted them and how they were able to apply those experiences to some of the various counseling theories discussed.

As such, I want you to think about the following information below in conjunction with the theories discussed in this chapter and how it can impact your own theoretical applications. Cite your information in APA format 7th edition where applicable.

1) Life Experience: Briefly describe an event or incident that has profoundly impacted you. Describe when it occurred, what happened, and why it was significant or life-changing for you. Be mindful of not disclosing too much personal information/details. (minimum of 2 paragraphs) – 6 points
