I don’t understand this Law question and need help to study.

Elena and Sergio both work in a midsized law firm in downtown Houston. They are both paralegals and started at roughly the same time two years ago. They support different lawyers but are in the same division and on the same team, so their cubicles are close and they regularly work closely together. In most cases they arrive at the same time in the morning, eat lunch together, and leave at the same time in the evening. Last week Elena was asked to complete a task that allowed her to see the billing summary for the month. Elena noticed that Sergio has reported working between two and three additional hours each day than her. Elena believes something is off and that Sergio may be padding his time.

Suppose you are Elena, how would you handle the situation? Can you think of any reasonable explanations for the discrepancies in timekeeping? What are the pros and cons for Elena of confronting Sergio with this information versus bringing them to her supervisor? Suppose this information is brought to the manager, how should he or she handle it?
