I’m trying to study for my Criminal Justice course and I need some help to understand this question.

the main goal of this post is to give reasoning why rehabilitation should be the main focus on the prison system rather than the punishment aspect. returning these people back to society as better and more reformed people. show how helping these people that are incarcerated will improve society rather than only focussing on the punishment for their crimes.
