The speaking notes are just your notes that you will use for reference during your speech. Whatever you will write down on your note cards is what you submit for your speaking notes. It’s OK if they change before your speech. You do not have to use note cards during your speech, but you DO need to demonstrate mastery of your content. Prepare and practice with these notes so that you are able to speak to your audience; points will be deducted if you are reading large portions of your speech word-for-word.
