In this assignment I want you to divide a piece of paper into 6 equal squares/rectangles. 1. Using the image of an apple (the fruit) draw an apple with only straight lines in the first square. 2nd square, draw the apple using a contour line as described in the text and video. 3rd square- after lightly drawing the apple use Hatch lines to describe the shaded are of the apple. 4th square- beginning with a light drawing use Cross Hatch Lines to describe the volume of shaded area of the apple. 5th section – lightly draw the apple then use shading to define the volume of the apple. Using the side of the point of a pencil shade the apple to describe it’s volume on a 2d surface. 6th section, you can choose one of the other line qualities from the text book to draw an apple. Having a real apple in front of you is helpful for this assignment.
