Website Review Paper
 
I would like you to click through, investigating the following websites and
choose 3 of them to write a review about. You could choose them
randomly, by what seems intriguing, or based on a theme.  For example,
there are at least 3 aimed at girls/teens, men, or people of color.
 
Your review may consider the following:
 
— who is the potential audience?  (Is it well aimed at them?  describe age, ethnicity, etc.)
 
— do you like the site?  (A “good ” site should be easy to visit & look at & should sustain our attention.)
 
— what is/is not attractive about it?
 
—  is the site useful, containing factual information, or does it seem biased in some way?
 
— does it present positive gender (or other) images?
 
— if the website also includes reader comments, what are you seeing?
(Some sites attract argumentative anti-woman, anti-gay, anti-feminist, etc,
commenters.  How are they handled?)
 
— were there similarities/differences between the 3 sites you chose to review?
 
— if you have your own favorite site(s) about gender &/or intersectionality issues that were not included here, feel free to share that, & use them for your review(s)
 
Your paper should be approximately 2 to 3 typed pages, with 1.5 spacing.
References, if used, can be cited on a separate page. (Info on how to
cite a website is included on the Purdue Owl site and in the APA style manual).
