Katrina, 15 Years Later is a podcast episode on Code Switch. It’s one of many stories available of where media are looking through a critical lens of media coverage. This assignment is asking us to pay attention to what is emphasized, what is deemphasized, what voices are loud and what voices are missing…for us to sharpen our thinking, our questioning, allowing ourselves to be more consciously aware of what we allow as information into our awareness and then the decisions we make based on what we understand.
