After watching the video and looking at what both sides had to say I have to side with the Hawaiians. On one side you have the scientists who believe that placing the Thirty Meter Telescope (TMT) will help them to unlock secrets of the universe. On the other side the Hawaiians don’t want the telescope to be built on Mauna Kea because it is sacred to them. There are already 13 telescopes up there and after each one they promised it would be the last one. Obviously they lied so I feel like the telescope should not be built.
