Newton’s Laws Project – Option A
 
Where can you find Newton’s three Laws? This project allows you to find it in real life. Your task is to make a Video / Movie presentation of Newton’s Laws using your camera. 
In your movie, you must follow the following procedure:

  1. First, you will need to create an introduction video.
  2. Your group must record yourselves accurately demonstrating each of Newton’s Laws. You must have a demonstration for each of the three laws. Demonstrations must be school appropriate.
  3. Along with the demonstrations, there must be an explanation on camera, either while the demonstration is occurring, or after the demonstration. Please make sure that I’m able to clearly hear the explanation. The explanation must be at least 5 sentences for each demonstration. Please make sure your references are school appropriate.
  4. Construct a force diagram that illustrates the external forces acting on the system for your example.
  5. Please put all of your material in Google Slides / Google Doc, etc. and upload to Schoology.
  6. Please don’t forget to set your share settings to “Everyone can view.”

Where can you find Newton’s three Laws? This project allows you to find it in real life. Your task is to make a graphic novel / cartoon presentation of Newton’s Laws and upload it into Google Slides / Docs. etc. and submit it to Schoology.
Procedure:

  1. You will create a cartoon / graphic novel that illustrates each law. The pictures must be in color.
  2. Write a paragraph describing how the cartoons / graphic novels you drew illustrate the law. The paragraphs must be at least 5 sentences for each. Please make sure your references are school appropriate.
  3. Construct a force diagram that illustrates the external forces acting on the system for your example.
  4. Please put all of your material in Google Slides / Google Doc, etc. and upload to Schoology.
  5. Please don’t forget to set your share settings to “Everyone can view.”

Where can you find Newton’s three Laws? This project allows you to find it in real life. Your task is to find pictures, create a song / poem, and make a presentation of Newton’s Laws. This will be put into Google Slides / Docs, etc. and uploaded to Schoology.
Procedure:

  1. You will find a picture online that illustrates each law. The pictures from the internet must be photographs, not diagrams or illustrations, and they cannot already be labeled with forces. The pictures must be in color.
  2. Write / sing a song or poem describing how the pictures you choose illustrate the law. The song / poem must be at least 5 sentences for each picture. Please make sure your references are school appropriate.
  3. Construct a force diagram that illustrates the external forces acting on the system for your example.
  4. Please put all of your material in Google Slides / Google Doc, etc. and upload to Schoology.
  5. Please don’t forget to set your share settings to “Everyone can view.”
