Lab

The Plate Tectonics lab will be conducted using an interactive Earth Viewer activity (Links to an external site.) to explore the earth and the changes it has experienced. This interactive activity allows you to explore the science of Earth’s deep history, from its formation 4.5 billion years ago to modern times.

The interactive Earth Viewer dynamically shows how continents grow and shift as you scroll through billions of years. Additional layers let you explore changes in atmospheric composition, temperature, biodiversity, day length, and solar luminosity over geologic time.
