1) What comes to mind when you think of Evolution? What does evolution mean to you?

2) What is the difference between evolution and adaptation?

2) What risk does non-random (Assortative) mating pose to a population of organisms? Provide an example to discuss (See agriculture, animal husbandry, designer pets, etc.). You could also look at how we have selected for a specific type of Turkey or Ham. Why is genetic diversity the hallmark of evolution?

3) Provide and discuss an example of co-evolution as it exists in nature. If this seems foreign, you may want to begin by looking at the co-evolution of flowering plants and flying organisms.
