Irvine Valley College Structuring Personal Problems Main Points Discussion
There is one component left when structuring your main points that we have not addressed: the internal preview. An internal preview is a list of your sub-points at the top of your main-points. That means you will have 3 internal previews: one at the start of your problems, one at the start of your causes, and one at the start of your solutions. Each main point should be divided into two (or three if absolutely necessary) sub-points. Dividing it into at least 2 sub-points will allow you to better remember the information (decreasing your chance of blanking!), and will break it down so that it will be easier for your audience to understand.
