Social Inequality Theme as Depicted in The Great Gatsby Annotated Bibliography

I’m working on a literature question and need guidance to help me understand better.

You are required to use at least one reputable, scholarly source, which should be an article OR a digital book chapter accessed through the library’s online databases that has been written by a scholar/expert in the field of literature/writing. The use of Wikipedia, any online sources that do not list an author, or information that comes from sites that just summarize the plot and key points (like SparkNotes, Shmoop, Cliffsnotes) is NOT acceptable and should NOT be cited as a source.

Your Annotated Bibliography should follow MLA format. It will include the full citation for the source at the top and then a paragraph explaining what the article is about AND how you plan to use it in your paper. Follow the example linked HERE to see what yours should look like. Yours should look the same!! Upload your Annotated Bibliography in this assignment on Canvas.

(My topic is Social inequality theme as depicted in the Great gatsby and the thesis statement is American novelist Scott Fitzgerald’s “The Great Gatsby” novel explores the Jazz Age using the lenses of Nick Carraway while pursuing his American dream. The novel revolved around Gatsby’s life, which almost but never accomplished the American dream. Is the American dream just like the sense of equality a reality or an illusion? This theme will focus on the social inequality issues based on class, race, gender inequality while pursuing the American Dream during the Jazz Age)
