Chevron doctrine is on the precipice of change. However, it is uncertain how any new judicial interpretations of Chevron may impact agency efficiency and ultimately public policy outputs. Or, whether any proposed changes will actually make a significant difference.

Directions: 

In this discussion forum, analyze and provide remarks about the case, Chevron, U.S.A., Inc. v. NRDC, 104 S. Ct. 2778 (1984) with particular discussion on the notion of “Chevron deference.”  In your remarks be sure to comment on the current and pending state of Chevron and its likely administrative and public policy outcome implications should it be revised or invalidated by reviewing courts.
