begin your research. Be sure to read the section entitled “Types of Evidence” in particular.

For this assignment, please submit the following:

• A bulleted list of no less than SIX different, credible sources that you are considering using to support the argument you will be making in your Civic Discourse piece.
• While I am only requiring 6, feel free to include however many resources you like beyond that.
• Each source should be organized in this order:
  • Name of source, author (if there is one)
  • What kind of source is this? (for example: “an organization dedicated to preserving the rights of those facing gender discrimination”; this will help you use their credibility to reinforce your claim)
  • Cut and paste passages, facts, stats, etc. (NO BIG CHUNKS OF INFO)
  • Notes to self (optional, but useful)
  • Web address/link to the source (remember, you’ll be submitting works cited sheet so get the info needed to do this the first time around).

Be sure to read the ENTIRE prompt as it provides information of how many claims you’ll need to make (3) and what types of claims can be made. Once you have an idea of the types of claims you want to make, your research should be more focused.
