Many change efforts define benefits to the organization such as cost savings and revenue. Individuals are interested in benefits for the organization, but the project manager need to make them understand the change in terms of personal impact and personal benefit in order to contextualize, internalize, and commit to the effort (Radujković & Sjekavica, 2017). Change happens at the individual level; it is important that benefits are defined and articulated in individual terms.
