An analysis is rhetorical when it describes and evaluates the effectiveness of an author(s) choices. In this essay you will be doing the same by first identifying a significant event, person, or text in your professional/academic field of study. To do that part you might first want to review some general and/or specialized references sources that might provide for you a brief, general history of your field. Once you have identified the event, person, or text of significance, you’ll then want to research primary sources connected to that choice.
