CSUN David Humes Argument on Causality Discussion
Can you help me understand this Philosophy question?
David Hume argues that it is impossible to ever establish a necessary causal connection between two different events and, therefore, that when we think about cause and effect we are really relying on something more like habit or custom. Do you agree with Hume, or do you think that it is actually possible for us to learn and establish causal connections between events? Why do you think this?
