Your goal is to argue a point. Ask yourself, what is this piece of media doing? How? And why? Use the theories we have discussed this semester to answer these questions and make your claims.
You may choose to focus your media analysis primarily on the work of one author, using the others as supporting or contrasting arguments. Or, you may choose to divide your analysis evenly among your sources. In any case, you must make significant and meaningful use of each author. Must use all four authors.
Lastly, assume that your reader is unfamiliar with both the media and the theories in your analysis. Be sure to introduce these works, but keep it brief and focus on what is most relevant. Don’t spend all 2000 words summarizing!
