Journal entries are due between Monday 8am and Saturday at 11:55PM of each week. An answer should be at least 300 words. All work must be cited appropriately (Bates & Swan, 2021).

Each assignment will be graded on the following rubric:

2 points:	Has put effort into answering the journal question for the week, citing lecture and reading material where appropriate. You have also turned in your response during the appropriate time and is not late. In-text citation and reference list are included.
1 point:	Appears to have put in a good deal of thought (effort is extremely high), but the response is opinion based and not based on the information being learned in class. (note: in order to get partial credit for a response that does not incorporate class material, the thoughtfulness and effort of the piece must be very high).
0 points:	Has not posted at all or you have posted your response late or your response fails to incorporate class material.

• Imagine that you are preparing a pamphlet that explains crime rate trends on your campus. Which data sources would you use to construct this pamphlet and why? Why would any one source not be enough, or result in an accurate pamphlet? Cite your text. Provide multiple examples of data collection sources

I attached the chapter and an EXAMPLE of a journal I did. please try and use that example because it must be formatted like that.
